Office Visits

Prescription and Refills

There are two ways to request a refill:

1. Contact your pharmacy and ask them to fax a request for a refill to our office. This is the best way to speed up the process.

2. Or you can call our clinic and leave a message on the nurse voice mail. Be sure to have the bottle available in order to provide the name of the medication (please spell the name if needed), the dose of the medication, and how often you take it. Also, leave the name of your pharmacy.

Please, allow 24-48 hours for the refill and check with the pharmacy to see if it is ready. Our nurse will call you only if there is an issue with the refill.

All pain medications and some anti-nausea medications require a written script that has to be picked up at our clinic and then taken to the pharmacy. Please allow 72 hrs to obtain script.

Some mail order pharmacies require a signed script: so please allow some additional time for these.

Please do not wait until the medication you have is finished to place a new order. It can take several days to authorize refills. If you have an urgent need, please contact our office.

If you need prescriptions for hypertension, heart disease, diabetes or other chronic medical problems, please contact your family doctor.
